  • Patent number: 7573760
Abstract: An integrated circuit comprises a sampling circuit arranged at a data output of an operating section and operated by sampling edges, data packets appearing at the data output in response to a sequence of request commands, and a control section configured to produce the sampling edges, the control section comprising at least two transmission branches each comprising a copy of the operating section. Pulse trains are applied to the transmission branches which have the same waveform as the sequence of request commands and are delayed relative to one another, wherein the first pulse train is contemporaneous with the sequence of request commands. The sampling edges are produced from leading edges of the pulse trains which appear at the outputs of the transmission branches.

  • Patent number: 7113024
Abstract: The invention relates to a circuit module with high-frequency input/output interfaces, and in particular to a circuit realized on a chip, principally a monolithic integrated circuit having a phase-regulated circuit which is fed by externally applied voltages and an internal operating voltage generated on the basis of a trimmable internal reference voltage. According to the invention, each further internal operating voltage is derived from an individual reference voltage on the basis of an external voltage. An adjusting circuit is provided which adjusts the individual reference voltage using the trimmable internal reference voltage and then freezes it.

  • Patent number: 6034913
Abstract: Improved techniques for driving wordlines of a semiconductor memory device are described. Accordingly to the invention, a wordline 402 is driven by a wordline driver 406 at a first end and then provided with a small amount of additional circuitry 442 at the other end of the wordline. When the additional circuitry senses that the wordline is beginning to transition to an active state, the additional circuitry operates to assist or accelerate the transition of the wordline to the active state. Accordingly, the invention operates to rapidly transition wordlines to an active state while using only minimal amounts of die area. The invention is particularly well suited for dynamic random access memories.

  • Patent number: 5995436
Abstract: A circuit embodying the invention includes a gating circuit responsive to a first control signal and to a second externally supplied control signal having an active state and an inactive state. The first control signal is produced by a power supply circuit which is responsive to the application of an externally supplied operating voltage for producing an "internal" operating voltage and which produces the first control signal having an active state when the internal operating voltage reaches a predetermined value. The gating circuit has an output for producing a third control signal which is enabling only if the second control signal goes from its inactive state to its active state when the first control signal is already in, and remains in, its active state. The gating circuit prevents a chip from operating in an unintended mode at power-up.

  • Patent number: 4933248
Abstract: An electrophotographic recording material is disclosed that comprises an electrically conducting layer support being in particular suitable for the production of printing plates or printed circuits, and a photoconductive layer comprising an organic photoconductor, a phenolic resin as the binder, a sensitizer and customary additives. The binder employed is an optionally substituted polyvinylphenol which has a molecular weight (weight average) of preferably between 1,500 and 60,000. The polyvinylphenol may be halogenated, preferably brominated. Furthermore, an o-quinonediazide may be contained in the photoconductive layer. The recording material is distinguished by a high charging capacity, good photosensitivity and excellent solubility properties. It is suitable for the reproduction of fine image elements.

  • Patent number: 4066453
Abstract: This invention relates to an improvement in the process for the preparation of printing forms or metallic etchings from electrophotographic or electrographic reproduction materials composed of a support with a photoconductive or high-ohmic layer thereon, by charging and image-wise exposure, or by image-wise charging, development of the electrostatic image with a finely-divided toner, fixing, and removal of the layer in the image-free areas by means of a decoating solution, the improvement comprising developing the electrostatic image with a developer which reacts at least superficially with the image areas at room temperature, thereby simultaneously effecting development and resistance to the decoating solution, or developing the electrostatic image with a developer which reacts with the decoating solution and thereby deactivates it in the image areas.
