  • Patent number: 5697796
Abstract: A contact sleeve is inserted in a recess (6) in a support part (2) of a measurement movement, such as a moving magnet measurement instrument, to provide connection in electrically conductive manner to the measurement movement. For this purpose, a contact screw (12) can be screwed into the recess, a circuit board (11) being pressed by it against an end mouth region of the recess (6). A conductive-track region (17) of the circuit board (11) can in this connection be connected in electrically conductive manner to the contact sleeve (7). The contact sleeve (7) on its end facing the circuit board (11), has an approximately radially outwardly extending flange-like widening which extends into the end mouth region of the recess (6) between support part (2) and the circuit board (11) which can be pressed thereon.

  • Patent number: 5061893
Abstract: The pointer shaft 1 of a rotary-magnet ratio meter is mounted by means of radial bearings (15 and 20 respectively) one near its pointer 2 and one at the end facing its rotary magnet 4. The lower radial bearing 20 arranged near the rotary magnet 4 is formed by a blind hole 16 into which the pointer shaft 1 engages and in which it rests on a metal ball 19. This metal ball 19 therefore forms a thrust bearing 20.

  • Patent number: 4698188
Abstract: The evaporation air humidifier comprises a housing consisting of an upper part (1) and a lower part (2) forming a water chamber (3). A drive unit (4) with a fan blade (5) is arranged on the upper part (1). An intermediate part (6) is located in the housing and floats on the water with its bottom surface lying on the water surface. The intermediate part (6) is guided by a slide pipe (19) and carries an evaporation mat (7), the lower end (17) of which is always submerged into the water tank (3) to the same length. The water is sucked through openings (15) into the evaporation mat (7), and humidifies the stream of air which passes therethrough in the direction of arrows (30, 31) and is discharged through the outlet openings (9).

  • Patent number: 4627862
Abstract: An air cleaning apparatus comprises a housing that includes four housing parts and a motor unit with an axial fan arranged in the middle zone of the apparatus. The motor unit forms with upper and lower housing parts a single unit. The air is sucked by the motor through a circular air channel. The outer zone of the air channel is surrounded by a multi-layer filter mat in the form of a shell. Along the side surface of the apparatus, air inlet openings are arranged. In the central zone on the upper surface of the cover air outlet openings are provided.

  • Patent number: 4123228
Abstract: A filter for liquids and particularly coffee comprises a container having a planar horizontal base formed with at least one filtrate drainage opening, and on its inner face formed with a plurality of radial ribs and a central support member which together support a generally planar filter element of thin sheet material in spaced parallel relationship to the base. In use the arrangement produces a toroidal circulation of liquid which prevents compaction of the filter cake and reduces clogging of the filter element.

  • Patent number: 4121413
Abstract: An improved rectangular casing is provided in three parts for a quartz-crystal electric clock. A middle portion of the casing holds the mechanical and electrical portions of the clockwork and the dial. A front portion of the casing holds a sight glass over the dial and engages the middle portion. A rear portion of the casing engages the middle portion. When the rear portion is removed, conductors on a printed circuit board which carries the clockwork are exposed, as well as a battery chamber.
