  • Patent number: 11926020
Abstract: A clamping apparatus includes a spindle body and a nut element to be screwed together for decreasing a spacing between first and second clamping elements to clamp an object disposed therebetween. The nut element has roller bodies with a defined roller engagement structure axially rotatably secured on a receiving body of the nut element and distributed in circumferential direction. A plurality of engagement regions distributed and/or spaced apart on the spindle body each have one spindle body engagement structure. The roller engagement structures of the roller bodies engage or can engage the spindle body engagement structures of the spindle body. The nut element can be screwed to the spindle body by the mutually engaged engagement structures of the spindle body and of the roller bodies, in particular with rolling of the roller bodies on the spindle body. An apparatus and a vise having the clamping apparatus are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20240080946
Abstract: A device for heat-treating shrink chucks for shank tools includes a receiving device for a shrink chuck, a heat treatment unit, and a measuring/computing unit for temperature measurement. The measuring/computing unit has a temperature sensor measuring a shell temperature of a shrink chuck in the receiving device, and a reflection sensor. The measuring unit applies a current test pulse before heat treatment on the shrink chuck in the heat treatment unit. A time/current curve ascertained for the test pulse is taken as a magnetic fingerprint for the shrink chuck in the heat treatment unit. An item of geometrical information for the shrink chuck is ascertained using the magnetic fingerprint. A reflection measurement is performed on the shrink chuck in the heat treatment unit. A temperature measurement on the shrink chuck performed by the temperature sensor in the heat treatment unit is corrected by the reflection measurement.

  • Publication number: 20230390831
Abstract: An apparatus cools and/or dries a shrink chuck and a method cools and/or dries a tool holder. The apparatus has a cooling attachment which can be fitted over the shrink chuck with the lower end thereof. In the region of the lower end of the cooling attachment guiding elements are arranged such that a first cooling fluid flow can be guided into an interior, which can receive the shrink chuck, of the cooling attachment while producing a turbulent flow which can be brought about by the guiding elements. In the method, the tool holder is dried and/or cooled by a first cooling fluid flow from a first cooling fluid. The first cooling fluid flow flows in the form of a turbulent flow axially in the direction of a tool receiving opening of the tool holder along the tool holder.

  • Patent number: 11602794
Abstract: A balancing adapter for a balancing device has a clamping device for clamping a workpiece. The clamping device has a clamping sleeve element with a clamping sleeve, and a clamping element that can be moved relative to the clamping sleeve element. The clamping sleeve has a taper, and the clamping element has a mating taper corresponding to the clamping sleeve taper. The clamping diameter of the clamping sleeve can be adjusted, and thus a workpiece can be clamped, by moving the clamping element relative to the clamping sleeve element. The clamping sleeve element is releasably connectable to a base body of the balancing adapter. Accordingly, for connection to the base body, the clamping sleeve element has an annular flange by which, in the connected state of the clamping sleeve element and the base body, the clamping sleeve element rests on an end wall of the base body.
