    Abstract: According to one or more embodiments, a first network node of a first radio access technology, RAT, configured to communicate with a second network node of a second RAT different from the first RAT is provided. The first network node includes processing circuitry configured to: schedule a physical resource block, PRB, in a predetermined frequency carrier range where the scheduling starts from a predefined frequency location in the predetermined frequency carrier range, receive an indication that the PRB has been scheduled by the second network node, and responsive to the received indication, discard the PRB scheduled by the first network node if the PRB is located outside of a first predetermined partition of radio resources allocated to the first network node.

    Abstract: Embodiments of methods in a base station and a UE are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method implemented in a network node includes any one or more of: selectively puncturing transmission of LTE CRS symbols that overlap NR DMRS symbols in a downlink transmission time interval; selectively puncturing transmission of NR DMRS symbols that overlap LTE CRS symbols in the downlink transmission time interval; and selectively reducing a number of NR DMRS symbols transmitted to the UE in the downlink transmission time interval. In some embodiments, a method implemented in a UE includes identifying, in a downlink channel, subchannels containing NR DMRS symbols that are corrupted due to collision with LTE CRS symbols. For each identified subchannel: a respective time averaged channel estimate is determined based on NR DMRS symbols that are not corrupted due to collision with the LTE CRS symbols; and a respective MMSE weight is determined using the time averaged channel estimate.

    Abstract: Regarding a first radio frequency (RF) carrier, a network node of a wireless communication network configures two or more bandwidth parts (BWPs) in the first RF carrier, each BWP aligning with a respective one of two or more other RF carriers positioned within the RF spectrum spanned by the first RF carrier. The node determines a frequency-sharing configuration for each BWP, in dependence on radio resource usage of the respective other RF carrier and configures wireless communication devices to use respective ones of the BWPs. For example, the node determines a resource-usage pattern for control-related signaling conveyed on the other RF carriers and transmits rate-matching information for the BWPs of the first RF carrier. Each BWP occupies RF spectrum used by a respective one of the other RF carriers, and the rate-matching information transmitted for each BWP depends on the resource-usage pattern determined for the respective other RF carrier.
