Patent number: 9410101Abstract: A process is disclosed for obtaining energy from organic-containing waste materials by (1) precomminuting the waste material and determining its ratio of carbonaceous material and silicatic material; (2) further measuring the constituents in the waste material to determine the ratio of carbonaceous material and silicatic material; (3) maintaining the ratio of carbonaceous material and silicatic material at about 90% to 10%; (4) adding phyllosilicate to the waste material, separating the resulting mixture into solid, liquid and gaseous phases, and pelletizing the solid phase; (5) pyrrolizing the pellets forming a second gaseous phase and a second solids phase; and (6) supplying the second gaseous phase to a tank, and separating the second solids phase into end product carbonaceous and silicatic materials, and recovering the carbonaceous materials.Type: GrantFiled: December 20, 2012Date of Patent: August 9, 2016Assignee: COMMERZIALBANK MATTERSBURG IM BURGENLAND AKTIENGESELLSCHAFTInventor: Franz Josef Philipp

Patent number: 9382388Abstract: A method for processing carbon dioxide contained in an exhaust gas flow. The exhaust gas flow is brought in contact in a drying and cooling chamber with a moistened porous silicate material and admixed aluminum hydroxide and/or hydrated aluminum oxide and/or optionally other metal oxidizers to produce a basic aqueous medium and to destabilize the carbon dioxide, and cooled. The amount of aluminum hydroxide and/or hydrated aluminum oxide to be added is controlled via a continuous pH value measurement, after which the aqueous medium is fed to a subsequent prechamber, which is supplied with material containing oxidizable alkaline earth and/or heavy metal, in which neutralization of the aqueous medium containing ionized carbon occurs. The formed alkaline earth and/or heavy metal oxide is discharged from the prechamber and the aqueous medium containing ionized carbon is then fed to a main chamber equipped with material consisting of and/or containing organic carbon compounds.Type: GrantFiled: February 13, 2013Date of Patent: July 5, 2016Assignee: COMMERZIALBANK MATTERSBURG IM BURGENLAND AKTIENGESELLSCHAFTInventor: Franz Josef Philipp

Patent number: 7932203Abstract: A method for producing an oil-binding agent of granular open-porous structure with a silicate ceramic matrix by using recovered paper material and clay. The method is characterized in that, in each case based on the entire raw material, 35 to 60 wt.-% sewage sludge with a water content of between 70 and 85 wt.-%, 25 to 55 wt.-% recovered paper material with a water content of between 35 and 55 wt.-%, 10 to 25 wt.-% clay and optionally 1 to 3 wt.-% zeolite, 1 to 2 wt.-% quicklime and/or up to 3 wt. % fly ash are mixed to a homogeneous mixture. The raw material thus obtained is subsequently processed in order to form particles having an average diameter of 4 to 6 mm. The particles are then dried and subsequently burnt at 950 to 1050° C. The oil-binding agents produced according to said method have a bulk density of between 0.4 and 0.75 kg/1 and a oil-binding capability of 0.7 to 1.0 1 oil per oil-binder.Type: GrantFiled: January 22, 2007Date of Patent: April 26, 2011Assignee: Commerzialbank Mattersburg im Burgenland AGInventor: Franz Josef Philipp
