Abstract: A safety device for an apparatus under pressure, such as a vessel under gas pressure, includes a housing having an overflow channel in fluid communication with the interior of the apparatus, and an outlet port. Received in the housing is a thermal trigger unit which has a rupture element intended to burst when a critical temperature level is exceeded. The rupture element interacts with a closure member which is moveable from a ready position, in which the closure member is so loaded by the rupture element as to seal the overflow channel and thereby cut a fluid communication between the overflow channel and the outlet port, to a release position, in which the overflow channel is cleared for fluid communication with the outlet port as a result of a bursting of the rupture element.

Abstract: A valve assembly for an apparatus under pressure, includes a valve casing with a connecting pipe having formed therein a fluid passageway. A valve body is received in the valve casing and movable against a valve seat for sealing the fluid passageway and thereby separate a high-pressure zone from a low-pressure zone. Integrated in a handwheel of the valve body is a manometer which is constraint against rotation, when the handwheel is turned with respect to the manometer. The manometer is in communication with the high-pressure zone regardless whether the valve seat is closed or open.

Abstract: A valve arrangement for carrying over gas at reduced pressure from a pressure container filled with high pressure gas to a consumer device includes a pressure reducing valve having a spring-biased closing member, and an opening plunger connected to the closing member, a pressure-regulating valve including a pressure-regulating spring and an opening projection acting on the plunger, and a pressure container attachment. The pressure-reducing valve is formed as an integral component of an interchangeable valve cartridge inserted in the pressure container attachment.
