  • Publication number: 20070254137
Abstract: A thermally conducting multi-layer film which includes of a first layer configured by an electrically insulating, thermally conducting, filled in, highly elastic elastomer layer which due to its gel characteristics can be permanently molded onto the uneven surface structure of an electronic circuit, and at least one second layer which is considerably thinner than the first layer and firmly linked therewith. The second layer is configured as a PCM layer which is applied to the first layer and thins out and/or brings about a change of state under the influence of pressure and/or temperature when a cooling body or housing element is applied.

  • Patent number: 6576173
Abstract: An improved method for manufacturing a porcelain object in a desired shape, from a mixture of at least clay, feldspar and quartz. According to the method, an aqueous dispersion of vinyl acetate and ethylene based copolymer is added to the mixture, and the mixture transformed into an aqueous mass in the shape of a foil with a thickness of 50 &mgr;m to 3 mm and dried. The dried foil is then formed into a desired object shape, and permanently hardened by a ceramic firing process. The dried foil may be brought into the desired object shape by known processes such as rolling, laminating, calendering, cutting, punching, paper folding methods and deep drawing. Once brought into the desired object shape, no drying is required before ceramic firing.

  • Patent number: 6558611
Abstract: A method for producing ceramic bodies, particularly ceramic foils, from a castable slip made of a dispersion of a ceramic powder in a solvent. A dispersion of an aqueous vinyl-acetate homopolymer or an aqueous vinyl-acetate/ethene copolymer being used as the solvent.

  • Publication number: 20020066881
Abstract: A casting or embedding compound for shielding electronic components against electromagnetic radiation is formed of a polymer matrix, which includes 5 to 95 wt. % electrically non-conducting magnetic particles having a mean particle size in the range of 1 to 250 &mgr;m.

  • Patent number: 5730869
Abstract: A porous ceramic filter obtainable from a thin and flat green filter material, wherein round components are punched out of the green material and stacked, leaving at least one hollow interior that can communicates with an outlet, and the stack is then sintered together into a homogeneous unit. The green material is produced by casting, the separate components are punched out of it in the form of two flat disks (2 & 3) and a ring (4) with the same outside diameter, joined subject to pressure and leaving the interior (1), and sintered into a homogeneous unit.
