Abstract: In a mop head which can be fitted on a mop holder having two flaps which can be folded back upon each other, with the mop head including two pouches on its upper side, and an additional securing device allocated to one pouch, a system is provided to facilitate the securing of the strap to the end of the flap in the locked position of use.

Abstract: A carrier strip in the form of a nonwoven, woven or knitted fabric made from natural and/or synthetic fibres, for use with foaming detergents, is loaded with antifoam active chemical substances. As a result of its compact packaging and ease of handling, no antifoam substances are released prior to use, prior to contact between the carrier and detergents. To this end, the folded carrier is packed in a sealed water soluble film and deploys its total surface only on contact with the detergents.

Abstract: An applicator or absorption cover for the head of a wet floor mop includes a textile support with holder insert-pockets sewn on the upper-side at opposite longitudinal ends, and with sponge-cloth or non-woven cloth material with high liquid take-up capacity being arranged as the underside material in the form of several strips in juxtaposed rows, with each of the strips attached over the area on the support, to take up dirt and liquids.

Abstract: A container for liquid floor treatment preparations adapted to be mounted at its back to the handle of a long-handled floor wiper, wherein the container includes a return flow cutoff funnel with an inlet, and a lower outlet tube with an exit port coupled to one end of a flexible hose that is selectively kinked to prevent fluid flow from the container to the floor, or unkinked to obtain such fluid flow.

Abstract: A self-standing manual surface-treating wiper assembly comprising a floor-engaging wiper head and an elongate handle pivotally-attached thereto at a central location for vertical extension to enable manual movement of the wiper head over a surface to be treated. A short swivel leg is pivotally-attached near the base of the handle for engagement with a detent on the wiper head to enable the handle to be supported upright and render the wiper assembly self-standing during periods of non-use.

Abstract: A carpet cleaning preparation in the form of a dry cleaning preparation in powder form which contains surfactants, organic solvents and zeolite and which is characterized in that the zeolite is in the form of a porous granulate which is unaffected by the mechanical stresses normally encountered during dry cleaning. The zeolite is preferably in the form of a porous granulate containing less than 2% by weight of particles 0.05 mm and smaller in size and less than 5% by weight of particles larger than 2 mm in size.

For squeezing or pressing out, the elements are introduced between the base and the cover together with the support. In order to provide a higher degree of dryness during the pressing, the base and if necessary the cover are provided with a lining of elastic material, for example of foam rubber.
