  • Patent number: 6105724
Abstract: A lubrication system for supplying lubricant to a plurality of antifriction bearings composed of inner and outer bearing rings and a plurality of rolling elements mounted between the rings. The lubricant is intermittently supplied to the region of the rolling elements, with the amount of each intermittent supply being determined as a function of operating data which are continuouslu acquired from the bearing.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 21, 1999
Date of Patent: August 22, 2000
    Assignee: Barmag AG
Inventors: Albert Stitz, Wolfgang Hahmann, Franz Peter Salz
  • Patent number: 5971107
Abstract: A lubrication system for supplying lubricant to a plurality of antifriction bearings, and which has a lubricant supply tank and a closed circuit lubricant supply line having two ends which communicate with the tank. A pump circulates the lubricant through the line, and a pressure regulating valve in the downstream end portion of the line maintains a desired pressure in the line. A plurality of tap lines lead from the closed circuit supply line to respective bearings via a metering or controllable valve.

  • Patent number: 5711615
Abstract: The present invention relates to an antifriction bearing with an external lubricant supply system, which includes a lubricant duct which extends through the outer ring or inner ring of the bearing, and which terminates in the direct vicinity of the rolling elements of the bearing.

  • Patent number: 5394696
Abstract: In a hydraulic system, several consumers (4) are supplied by a common pump. In so doing, the consumers (4) are controlled by control valves (6). When the required oil flows exceed the quantity which can maximally be delivered, a control becomes operative which allows to adapt the reference value signals by which the valves (6) are controlled, to the actually measured pump flow, preferably to the weighting of the actually measured pump flow with the maximally predetermined pump flow.

  • Patent number: 5297381
Abstract: In a hydraulic system several consumers (5'; 5"; 5'") are supplied by a common regulating pump (1). The regulating pump (1) is controlled as a function between the pump pressure (delta P) and the highest load pressure. This pressure difference (delta P.sub.max) is related to a minimum pressure difference (delta P.sub.min), and the comparison signal is input in a control unit (21) to influence the reference value signals (S1, S2, S3) by which the individual valves (6'; 6"; 6'") are controlled.
