  • Patent number: 11892012
Abstract: An adjustable guide vane for a compressor, in particular a high-pressure compressor, of a gas turbine, in particular an aircraft gas turbine is described, the vane comprising a radially outer bearing section, a radially inner bearing section, and a vane section, which extends in the radial direction between the outer bearing section and the inner bearing section, wherein the outer and the inner bearing sections are designed in such a way that the adjustable guide vane can be taken up rotatably about a vane axis in the compressor, and wherein the radially inner bearing section is configured like a journal (cone-shaped) and has a lateral surface that is formed circumferentially about the vane axis, the lateral surface being of convex shape. In this way, it is provided that the radius of curvature of the convex lateral surface is at least double the maximum diameter of the bearing section.

  • Publication number: 20230235752
Abstract: An adjustable guide vane for a compressor, in particular a high-pressure compressor, of a gas turbine, in particular an aircraft gas turbine is described, said vane comprising a radially outer storage section, a radially inner storage section, and a vane section, which extends in the radial direction between the outer storage section and the inner storage section, wherein the outer and the inner storage sections are designed in such a way that the adjustable guide vane can be taken up rotatably about a vane axis in the compressor, and wherein the radially inner storage section is designed like a journal (cone-shaped) and has a casing surface that revolves relative to the vane axis, said surface being of convex shape. In this way, it is provided that the radius of curvature of the convex casing surface is at least double the maximum diameter of the storage section.

  • Patent number: 10385783
Abstract: The present invention relates to a seal arrangement for a turbomachine, in particular a gas turbine, having a plurality of rows, arranged in succession in the axial direction (A), of shells (1-3) connected to one another in the circumferential direction (U), wherein shells adjacent in the axial direction have cross sections opened counter to a throughflow direction (A) and/or a thread axis inclined counter to the throughflow direction.

  • Publication number: 20090041607
Abstract: A method is provided for producing a sealing segment for use in compressor and turbine components, by powder injection molding, the method comprising the following steps: a) preparing a first homogeneous mixture of a metal powder or a mixture of metal powders or a ceramic powder or a mixture of ceramic powders and at least one binding agent; b) producing a first molded article by injection molding the first mixture; c) preparing a second homogeneous mixture of a metal powder or a mixture of metal powders or a ceramic powder or a mixture of ceramic powders and at least one binding agent, the second mixture being selected to exhibit a lower abrasion resistance than the first mixture following a subsequent joint sintering process; d) producing a second molded article as a rub strip by injection molding the second mixture; and e) joining the first and second molded articles to produce the sealing segment.

  • Patent number: 6062463
Abstract: The invention relates to a manufacturing process for brush-type seals having the following steps:Stacking of bristles in a bristle receiving shaft such that the bristles are partially situated next to the space for at least one brush cheek;adjusting the bristle receiving shaft in synchronization with the stacking of the bristles relative to a point of introduction of the bristles into the bristle receiving shaft so that the position of a bristle stack surface in the bristle receiving shaft remains at least essentially constant relative to the point of introduction;fastening the bristles on at least one brush cheek in the bristle receiving shaft; andremoving the at least one brush cheek with the bristles fastened thereto from the bristle receiving shaft. In addition, the invention provides an arrangement for manufacturing brush-type seals by means of which the above-mentioned process can be carried out correspondingly.
