  • Patent number: 3980633
Abstract: New pyridazinium compounds which can be used as intermediates and are of interest because of their pharmacological properties, and their production. The invention relates to new pyridazinium compounds and their production. These compounds are of pharmacological interest. In DOS No. 1,912,941 6-alkoxypyridazinium compounds are said to have valuable pharmacological properties. Furthermore pyridazinium compounds are known for example as starting materials for pesticides and dyes from DOS No. 2,003,461 or U.S. Patent 3,510,488.The quaternization of pyridazines into pyridazinium compounds is described in an article in Acta. Chem. Scand., 21 (1967), 1067 to 1080, and the reaction of 6-chloropyridazinium compounds with amines is described in volume 23 (1969), 2534 to 2536.
