  • Publication number: 20210053869
Abstract: A solar glass is specified. In an embodiment a solar glass includes a glass substrate and a layer system arranged on the glass substrate, wherein the layer system includes a base layer comprising one or more first dielectric layers, a first silver layer arranged on the base layer, an absorber layer arranged on the first silver layer, the absorber layer comprising a metal or metal alloy, an aluminum oxynitride layer arranged on the absorber layer, an intermediate layer arranged on the aluminum oxynitride layer, the intermediate layer comprising one or more second dielectric layers, a second silver layer arranged on the intermediate layer and a cover layer arranged on the second silver layer, the cover layer comprising one or more third dielectric layers, and wherein the absorber layer has a spatially varying thickness, a spatially varying material composition and/or a spatially varying surface coverage density in at least one direction.

  • Publication number: 20210054681
Abstract: A method for producing a glass sheet is disclosed. In an embodiment a method includes applying a plurality of supporting bodies to the glass sheet, wherein applying the supporting bodies to the glass sheet includes performing a float glass process while producing the glass sheet, and wherein the supporting bodies are applied while the glass sheet has a temperature above a glass transition temperature so that the supporting bodies partially fuse with the glass sheet.

  • Patent number: 8347938
Abstract: According to the invention, a multilayer or insulating window pane (1) having at least two rigid panes (1P) and a spacer frame (1S) which connects these panes so as to form a tightly sealed intermediate space between the panes, and also an electrical component (3; for example motor, valve) which is arranged in the intermediate space between the panes, and also an associated electrical connection device is equipped with a detection device (4) for operating data of the component (3), which detection device cannot be manipulated from the outside but can be at least indirectly read off or read out. As a result, switch-on processes or times, maximum current consumption or operating temperature or the like, for example, can be detected and checked for servicing and/or monitoring purposes by reading out the operating data.

  • Patent number: 8070203
Abstract: A method for operating vacuum-operated hoists with at least one elastically deformable vacuum-operated lifting mechanism, with a controllable vacuum generator, and with at least one motorized lifting drive is disclosed. A load detection device is used in order to detect the weight of a load picked up by the hoist. The load detection device generates a protection signal directly after detection of a load exceeding a predetermined tare weight of the hoist if the vacuum is insufficient to lift the load. The protection signal indirectly or directly deactivates the lifting drive with the aid of a switch-off control and/or prevents further lifting of the load if an insufficient vacuum or no vacuum is present when an increased load is detected and lifting begins.

  • Patent number: 7654061
Abstract: A composite pane (3) having at least two rigid (glass) plates (3.1, 3.2) and an intermediate layer (33) has flexible holding elements (4) which are positioned in the plane of the intermediate layer between the two rigid plates and extend over their outer edge, for securing the composite pane to a substructure or holding structure (1). According to the invention, flat sections of the holding elements (4) are inserted into corner and/or edge regions of the composite pane (4) and are provided with perforations (4P), and high-strength thin filaments (4F), fibres or woven strands are guided in looped form through or around these perforations (4P), in order thereby to form load-bearing parts of the flexible holding elements (4) which project outward out of the composite.

  • Publication number: 20080247856
Abstract: In a method for operating vacuum-operated hoists (1) with at least one elastically deformable vacuum-operated lifting mechanism (4) and with a controllable means of generating the vacuum, and with at least one motorized lifting drive (2), with a load detection device (8) being used in order to detect the weight of a load (3) picked up by the hoist (1), the load detection device (8) generates a protection signal directly after detection of a load (3) exceeding a predetermined tare weight (T) of the hoist (1) if the vacuum (V) is insufficient to lift the load, said protection signal indirectly or directly deactivating the lifting drive (2) with the aid of a switch-off control (2S) and/or preventing further lifting of the load if an insufficient vacuum or no vacuum is present when an increased load is detected and lifting begins. This function prevents the lifting of loads exclusively by a suction cup effect of vacuum-operated lifting mechanisms.
