  • Patent number: 7684058
Abstract: The invention relates to an electrooptical distance measuring device comprising a transmitter that emits optical radiation for lighting an object to be measured, an optical transmitting system which is rigidly mounted in relation to the transmitter and a light collector. A support element is positioned with a measurement receiver and a receiving electronics in relation to the light collector. The support element is rigidly linked with the measurement receiver with regard to at least two directions of movement.

  • Patent number: 6336277
Abstract: The invention concerns a measuring stop device for a distance-measuring apparatus (4), said device comprising a rear measuring stop (1) which runs perpendicular to the measuring direction (6), is linear and is divided into at least two measuring stop regions (1a, 1b), at least one measuring stop region (1b) being rotatable about an axis (3) running parallel to the measuring direction (6). If the measuring stop regions (1a, 1b) are aligned one behind the other, a distance can be measured from a transversal intersecting a vertex and is used, for example, for determining the diagonals of a surface. In order to measure distances from a flat surface, a stable support surface which is perpendicular to the measuring direction (6) can be provided by rotating the rotatable measuring stop region (1b) accordingly.

  • Patent number: 5134779
Abstract: A plotter having a flat-bed, a beam-shaped tool carriage having opposite ends and movable in a first coordinate direction, work stands located at each end of the tool carriage, a tool holder movable on the tool carriage in a second coordinate direction orthogonal to the first coordinate direction, controlled drive motors for the two travel movements is provided with a drive connection from the drive motor for the first coordinate direction to the tool carriage, said drive connection being provided from muliple cable strands each comprising at least four individual cables guided in parallel. The individual cables loop around drive pulleys to secure the tool carriage tightly in each work stand. Rockers pivotally mounted on each word stand and containing reverse rollers through individual cables pass through, equalize the tensile stresses of the individual cables. This results in an improved repeat accuracy of the positioning of the plotter tool.
