Abstract: This invention relates to a method of improving the resorption of injected antibacterially active substances or combinations. More specifically, this invention relates to a method of increasing the resorption of an antibacterially active substance or combination which does not have optimum resorbability and which is administered parenterally into tissue, which comprises administering to a host at least one benzylamine derivative of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is a hydroxyl group in the 2- or 4-position or an amino group in the 2-position;R.sub.2 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having from 1 to 3 carbon atoms; andR.sub.3 is a cyclohexyl group optionally substituted by a hydroxyl group,or a non-toxic, pharmacologically acceptable acid addition salt thereof with an inorganic or organic acid, in conjunction with said antibacterially active substance or combination.

Abstract: The invention relates to the use of a substance as a sedative with an analgesic and bradycardiac effect in warm-blooded animals. The possible applications are, for example, in the field of veterinary medicine for general tranquilizing and for producing analgesia.

Abstract: A fuel heated hot water storage tank with a water filled annular space (33) is disposed in a case (1). The center of the annular space is provided by a flame tube (5), which is heated with the waste gases of a burner. An annular heating space (10) for water of a heating system is disposed between the flame tube (5) and the inner wall (28) of the water container (33). The annular heating space (10) is formed as a double annular space in the shape of a U, where the two arms (11, 12) of the U are connected to each other in the lower region (34) via a redirection connection (14). A further annular space (26) is provided between the outer annular space (12) of the double annular space (10) at a heat insulating distance (27) from the outer annular space and the further annular space is located in a heat conducting connection to the water filled annular space (33). The heat insulating distance can be provided as a third annular space (27).

Abstract: A device for eccentrically moving and positioning a tool, workpiece, or measuring instrument in connection with machining or measuring operations where a large outer drum is rotatably arranged inside a headstock and carries in an eccentrically offset parallel bore a smaller inner drum which, in turn, carries a likewise eccentrically offset parallel spindle sleeve and work spindle which are movable axially in relation to the headstock. Each drum and the work spindle have a drive unit and a clamping device, the drive units of the drum including a main drive and a positioning drive.
