Franz Wonisch has filed for patents to protect the following inventions. This listing includes patent applications that are pending as well as patents that have already been granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

  • Publication number: 20070084040
Abstract: A method for producing a breech slide of a firearm in a metal injection molding process. The process includes the following steps: a green body is injected in an injection mold. The green body is cooled. The binder is removed from the green body to form a brown body. Then the brown body is sintered.

  • Publication number: 20060266342
Abstract: A compressed-gas-operated firearm, comprising a reservoir for compressed gas; valve means (8) for supplying the compressed gas from the reservoir to a projectile (10) to which the compressed gas is to be applied, in which case the valve means (8) can have an impulse applied to it, at least in places, for firing a shot; in which case the valve means (8) are designed such that, by replacement of at least one first part by at least one second part of the valve means (8), the amount of compressed gas which is available for the acceleration of the projectile (10) per shot and/or the pressure of the compressed gas which is available for application to the projectile (10) can be varied.

  • Publication number: 20050235546
Abstract: A firearm, in particular a self-loading small-caliber rifle, having a barrel, a breech housing having a breech held in it, with the breech and/or the breech housing being designed such that the firearm can be changed from a first assembled arrangement, which is suitable for right-handed gunners, to a second assembled arrangement which is suitable for left-handed gunners, with the firearm preferably being in the form of a rifle of the Bullpup type.

  • Patent number: 6789342
Abstract: A fire arm, especially a small caliber pistol, having a grip, a frame connected to the grip, a barrel unit fixed on the frame in the operating state of the fire arm, with a barrel tube and a bolt which can move relative to the frame and barrel unit such that when a shot is fired it can move to the rear against the direction of firing, the barrel unit and/or the frame having fastening means which allow detachable mounting of the barrel unit on the frame.

  • Patent number: 6029645
Abstract: The invention discloses a compressed gas-operated pistol (1) with a gas capsule (15) arranged in a grip member (5), which is in operative connection with a valve system (33) of the pistol (1). The secure receipt and piercing of the gas capsule (15) is effected through an abutment (17) which completes an inherent displacement and an external displacement superimposed on this inherent displacement. The external displacement is thereby effected by a support element (23) of the abutment (17) which is contacted by capsule tensioner (25). (FIG. 2).

  • Patent number: 5906191
Abstract: The invention discloses a compressed gas-operated firearm (1), especially a pistol, which at the utilization of a drum (18) for multi-shot projectile receipt distinguishes itself through a linearly displaceable weapon barrel (3) to achieve a loading position, or, respectively, firing position, and through a trigger (4) which is automatically secured against actuation in the loading position. Furthermore, a new type of valve system (25) is proposed for the impulse-like emission of the compressed gas upon the discharge of a shot.

  • Patent number: 4190034
Abstract: The present apparatus for starting and fanning a fire, for example in a fireplace, is hand operated and combines in a common handle housing a source of fuel for providing an ignition flame and a power source as well as a fan for blowing air into the fire. The fan is driven by the power source such as a battery. The control for the apparatus is so arranged that the supply of fuel gas and an ignition spark occur substantially simultaneously, whereby the fan is preferably operating on "low". Once the fire has started the fuel gas supply is stopped and the fan may be operated on "high" by an electric motor which may be driven by said battery or through an adapter from a power outlet.
