  • Patent number: 5518420
Abstract: A connector for a coaxial cable of a type having a corrugated outer cable conductor and an inner cable conductor includes a housing having a bore formed therein for receiving one end of the coaxial cable. A corrugated nut is attached on the outer conductor and securable to the housing. In order to ensure a secure clamping of the coaxial cable which is only prepared by cutting its end at a right angle to its longitudinal axis, a support ring is centrally positioned in the bore of the housing and has an outer contour which complements the inner contour of the outer conductor.

  • Patent number: 4496208
Abstract: A plug inner conductor for connection to a tubular inner conductor of a coaxial cable is disclosed. The plug inner conductor includes a spreading sleeve having a slot formed therein which permits the effective diameter of the sleeve to be increased. A clamping cone is inserted through the spreading sleeve and has a shape which will cause the clamping cone to place a radially outward force on the spreading sleeve as the clamping cone is moved axially through the spreading sleeve. The clamping cone is coupled to an inner conductor sleeve in such a manner that the clamping cone is moved axially with respect to the inner conductor sleeve as the inner conductor sleeve is rotated.

  • Patent number: 4494094
Abstract: For a rectangular waveguide the wall thickness of the narrow sides b of the rectangle is smaller than the wall thickness of the broad sides a of the rectangle with the ratio of the wall thicknesses being so chosen that approximately the same resistance to deformation is obtained in both directions. For waveguides which consist of welded plates the broad sheet metal plates 10 are cut to the nominal inner dimension and the sheet metal plates which form the narrow sides and have a lower wall thickness abut laterally against the two plates belonging to the a side.

  • Patent number: 4135288
Abstract: An HF-coaxial connector including a connector body and a coupling ring outside the connector body: the connector body has an outwardly projecting flange; the coupling ring has an internally projecting flange and the flanges respectively project outwardly and inwardly sufficiently that the flanges lock to block separation of the connector and coupling ring; and a process for forming the connection by deforming the coupling ring inwardly to define the flange which engages the connector body.
