  • Patent number: 6238326
Abstract: To regulate the temperature of the heated air in an apparatus for the pasting of plastic films having a rack having a table over which the workpieces are conveyed continuously by a conveyor apparatus, having a conveyor roller pair disposed in a gap of the table top and supported in the rack, consisting of a lower counter-pressure roller and an upper suction cylinder, having a conveyor cylinder acting together with the suction cylinder which successively transfers sections to the suction cylinder, and having a broad-slit nozzle directed to the roller gap which blows in a controlled manner heated air to the roller gap, the temperature directly after the pasting of the pasted region of the workpiece at which a good pasting occurs is determined as the nominal value and the temperature of the heated air is regulated to this nominal value.

  • Patent number: 4898637
Abstract: The process for the manufacture of a tubular semimanufactured article made from plastic (synthetic resin) for the fabrication of sacks comprises at least one tubular extrudate made from a thermoplastic film, said extrudate reinforced with narrow strands or tapes made from plastic or the like and extruded around the circumference and/or along the length thereof, and a second tubular covering or jacket extrudate made from a thermoplastic film which is applied onto said first reinforced plastic film, whereupon the assembly is bonded together in a soft and warm condition. In this connection, said second tubular plastic film is applied in the form of at least one individual, preferably continuously delivered, film run or web, said film run being welded or bonded together at its edges, thus forming the tubular covering or jacket film.

  • Patent number: 4846229
Abstract: In a circular loom, displacement means engage on the inner partial heald (7) of a partial heald pair (6, 7) after each shedding motion in order to bring about the instantaneous lateral relative counter-displacement of the partial healds for the reciprocal displacement of the leno thread (51), extending lengthwise to the ground thread (50), two neighboring warp threads (50, 51), for the production of a leno fabric (6, 7). Furthermore, the warp threads of one partial heald of a partial heald pair are guided freely by thread guide means (24) to bring about the shedding, and, on the other partial heald, to bring about a side change.
