    Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for projecting nighttime and daytime images, especially during training in how to drive vehicles. The device uses a matrix of micromirrors, comprising a main illumination chain for the matrix and a redundant illumination chain. The redundant illumination chain includes at least one light-filtering means suitable for projecting an image for night vision. The invention may be used within the context of training in driving at night using a light intensifier system, for example night vision goggles.
