  • Patent number: 8500360
Abstract: A traffic cone system for deploying a banner of flat traffic cones featuring a base spool pivotally anchored in the inner cavity of a utility vehicle and a deployment spool. A banner of flat traffic cones is wound around the base spool and is connected to the deployment spool. The deployment spool is mounted above an extension shaft and a ground base. The ground base can be anchored to the ground surface. The extension shaft can position the deployment spool at an appropriate height. The banner can be unwound from the base spool to display a plurality of flat triangle cones resembling traffic cones.

  • Publication number: 20060280669
Abstract: A process for the preparation of high quality char from organic waste materials. The waste is first sorted to remove recyclable inorganic materials of economic value (metals, glass) and other foreign materials that would be detrimental to the quality of the final product (stone, sand, construction debris, etc.). After size reduction, the waste is pyrolyzed at a temperature range of 250 to 600° F., in a high capacity, continuous mixer reactor, using in-situ viscous heating of the waste materials, to produce a highly uniform, granular synthetic product similar in energy content and handling characteristics to, but much cleaner burning than, natural coal.

  • Patent number: 4605072
Abstract: Soil cultivating apparatus is provided including a cultivating tool for entering into the soil, and control means responsive to the force exerted on said tool by an obstacle encountered by said tool as the tool is drawn through the soil to lift the tool out of the soil. In a preferred embodiment a spring biased latch holds a control arm hinged to a secondary member itself hinged to the main frame of the apparatus, and the soil-cultivating tool extends from the control arm. A ground engaging pad on the control arm levers the tool out of the ground when the tool is released by the latch in response to an excessive force thereon due to the obstacle.

  • Patent number: 4107995
Abstract: In underwater diving a record is made on an electronic recorder of the instantaneous pressure to which the diver is subjected at successive time intervals to give complete time-versus-pressure records for any one diver for a given time period, for example, twelve hours. A pressure transducer delivers an electronic signal to the recorder, and this pressure data is recorded at successive time intervals, for example, every minute of the twelve-hour period. The recorded data is read digitally and is read in analogue in the form of an x-y graph, either permanent or fleeting. The recorded data is preferably kept in permanent form on electronic chips also referred to as programmable read-only memories. The entire recording device can be carried by the diver, and the readout apparatus may be located at the surface of the water. Continuous topside monitoring is also provided.
