Patent number: 11781713Abstract: A mobile storage apparatus for containers is provided. The apparatus provides a unique support assembly for holding a container. The assembly includes a latch mechanism that allows a clamp of cylinder to be moved from a closed position to an open position which creates clearance around a neck of cylinder to allow it to rotate without falling out of clamp. The other end of apparatus is structurally configured with a release plunger that can be retracted to allow rotation of cylinder along said other end. Rotatable wheels on a user side with a braking mechanism along a handle and a foot ledge allow improved maneuverability and stability.Type: GrantFiled: March 9, 2022Date of Patent: October 10, 2023Assignee: Praxair Technology, Inc.Inventors: Mayank Pareek, Ashwini K Sinha, Stanley M Smith, Ranko Bursac, Amber L Boll, Merry Riehm-Constantino, Amy Beth Hangen, Fred A. Patent number: 11350675Abstract: A vape cleaning device for easily and thoroughly cleaning vape coils for reuse and avoiding the need for frequent replacement. The device has a base enclosing a fan oriented to direct air upwardly, a heat block suspended above the fan, a heating element coupled to the heat block, and a shield coupled to the base and having a central opening. A cup is removably positioned in the central opening of the shield and in contact with the heat block to be heated thereby. A vape coil holder may removably suspended in the cup that the vape coil is submerged in a cleaning fluid in the cup. After the cup has been warmed to a predetermined temperature for a cleaning cycle, the cup may be removed and the vape coil holder suspended from the shield. The fan may then be operated for a predetermined time period for a drying cycle.Type: GrantFiled: December 4, 2019Date of Patent: June 7, 2022Inventors: Mary Beth Riehlman, Terry Anne Bocklet, Michael J. Patent number: 10743459Abstract: A hand-held spreader is provided having a housing with a compartment for particulate material, a chamber below the compartment having a bottom wall with a circular aperture, an impeller mounted for rotation in the chamber along such bottom wall responsive to a hand crank, a discharge opening, and a path along which the particulate material passes into the chamber for discharge via the discharge opening. The impeller has an outer circular periphery proximal to and extending over an outer edge of the aperture to form a gap between the impeller and the bottom wall of the chamber that seals the gap from the particulate material larger than the gap from entering under the impeller and risking obstruction of impeller rotation. Any particulate material that enters the gap passes downward through the aperture to enable self-cleaning of particulate material that would otherwise collect under the impeller in the chamber.Type: GrantFiled: January 19, 2017Date of Patent: August 18, 2020Assignee: CHAPIN MANUFACTURING, INC.Inventors: Neil J. Rosenbaum, Howard S. Ryan, Fred A. Marconi, Jr.

Publication number: 20130001332Abstract: An electrically-powered spreader for spreading a granular product is disclosed. The spreader may comprise a cap used to close a bottle containing the granular product. When in the open position, the bottle may be tilted into a position in which the granular product is fed by the force of gravity through an opening and into the spreader cap. A moving member within the spreader cap interacts with the granular product to propel it out of an opening in the spreader cap. In this way, the granular product is broadcast out of the bottle and onto the treatment area around the bottle.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 29, 2011Publication date: January 3, 2013Inventor: Fred A. Marconi, JR.

Publication number: 20100140374Abstract: A motion-powered liquid sprayer that can increase the number of rotations of the pump relative to each rotation of the wheel or axle is provided. The sprayer can include a gearing assembly that employs gears to increase the number of pump revolutions as a function of the wheel or axle rotation. The sprayer can also include a gear pump that employs an over-capacity or enhanced gullet together with blow-by spacing to control consistent liquid flow relative to variable motional velocities.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 8, 2009Publication date: June 10, 2010Applicant: Earth Way Products, Inc.Inventors: Jeffrey D. Kendall, David R. Axton, Richard Sevrey, Fred A. Marconi, JR.

Patent number: 6413301Abstract: Disclosed is a portable air filtration system for removing contaminants from room air. In one embodiment, the air filtration system includes a power supply and an air blower module electrically connected to the power supply. The air filtration system further includes an ionization module engaged with the air blower module and including a first control grid and a high voltage grid electrically connected to the power supply. The air filtration system further includes a filter module removably engaged with the ionization module. The filter module includes a filter and a second control grid. Engagement of the filter module and the ionization module creates an electrical connection between the second control grid and the power supply. Activation of the air filtration system creates a first ionization field between the high voltage grid and the first control grid and a second ionization field between the high voltage grid and the second control grid.Type: GrantFiled: December 26, 2001Date of Patent: July 2, 2002Assignee: Healthway Products Company, Inc.Inventors: William E. O'Hara, Richard T. Briggs, Max Bablok, Herbert Hildebrandt, Richard H. Chapman, Robert S. Englert, Mark A. Ferguson, Timothy R. Fitch, Scott W. Osiecki, Fred A. Marconi, Jr.

Patent number: 6186174Abstract: Multi-port valve assemblies with, typically, two-piece housings are disclosed. Particularly useful in connection with swimming pools and associated water pumps, the assemblies avoid reliance on an elongated handle to effect rotation of the internal structure of the valve. Instead, the assemblies utilize a knob—which users need not lift—coupled to a post in which an elongated slot is formed. Doing so avoids breakage problems associated with use of elongated handles while reducing wear of internal seals. Each valve assembly additionally may include a cam having non-semicircular, asymmetrically-shaped recesses into which followers attached to a shaft passing through the elongated slot are received.Type: GrantFiled: October 1, 1997Date of Patent: February 13, 2001Assignee: Muskin Leisure Products, Inc.Inventors: Peter P. Yurchision, Alan W. Brownlie, Fred A. Marconi, Jr.
