Abstract: A system and method for conducting a casino game based on a number of same-suited cards. Players place a mandatory 9-card wager on red or black synonymous with Diamonds/Hearts and Spades/Clubs, respectively. Optional 3-card wagers (community cards), 6-card wagers (player cards) and 9-card bonus wagers (community cards+player cards) are available. After the placement of the mandatory 9-card wager and optional wagers, three community cards are dealt or displayed and then players have option to fold or place a play wager. Each player is then dealt or displayed six player cards. The nine total cards are then evaluated to determine if players hold three or more same-suited cards of the color selected by the player with the mandatory 9-card wager. Similarly, the optional 3-card, 6-card and 9-card bonus wagers require at least 2 flush cards, 3 flush cards and 5 flush cards, respectively, to support a wager payout.

Abstract: An exemplary steam plant having a steam circuit which includes a superheater defining a boundary between a superheated steam region and an unsuperheated steam region. The steam circuit includes a branch, from a superheated steam region of the steam circuit, with a branch valve and a steam desuperheater upstream of the branch valve. The desuperheater provides cooling to the branch during flow mode operation of the branch. During a no flow mode, a first preheat line and a second preheat line provide the cooling by supplying unsuperheated steam to the branch and directing this flow through to a lower pressure region of the steam circuit.

The modified cards have a distinctive color arrangement permitting hearts and diamonds, and spades and clubs, to be more readily distinguished thereby allowing card games to proceed at a faster pace. For example, a first suit, hearts, with all markings, heart shapes and numbers being a red color on a white background; a second suit, diamonds, with all markings, diamond shapes and numbers being a white color against a red background, a third suit, spades, with all markings, spade shapes and numbers being a black color on a white background; and a fourth suit, clubs, with all markings, club shapes and numbers being a white color against a black background. Other arrangements are disclosed.
