    Abstract: Anesthetic is delivered in a substantially continuous manner through a hole drilled in a jaw bone of a dental surgery patient. The hole is drilled in a conventional manner and a fixture embedded in the bone. An adapter is attached to the fixture and anesthetic is delivered substantially continuously through a tube connected to the adapter. An interference fit between the fixture and the adapter provides a liquid seal. The tube may be connected to the fixture by an interference fit, by adhesive or by molding.
