  • Patent number: 12247741
Abstract: An injector for a combustor of a gas turbine engine is provided with a plurality of air/fuel mixing tubes divided into radially outer and radially inner subsets of air/fuel mixing tubes with a first fuel manifold in fluid communication with the radially outer subset of air/fuel mixing tubes and a second fuel manifold in fluid communication with the radially inner subset of air/fuel mixing tubes. Each of the air/fuel mixing tubes of the radially outer subset of air/fuel mixing tubes includes a substantially quadrilateral cross-sectional profile, and each of the air/fuel mixing tubes of the radially inner subset of air/fuel mixing tubes includes a substantially circular cross-sectional profile.

  • Patent number: 6015401
Abstract: A syringe is disclosed having a large syringe housing which can be fitted with a large needle holder which in turn holds a large introducer needle. The introducer needle defines a passageway. A small seeker needle which is designed to fit within and through the passageway of the large introducer needle is attached by way of a small needle holder to a small syringe housing. A washer adapter attaches to the front of the small needle holder in order to have the small syringe housing move within a large syringe housing as a plunger for the large syringe housing. The small syringe housing in turn receives on one end a small syringe plunger which may define a small plunger lumen or chamber which can be used for transduction. Another embodiment has a modified needle having a port in the shaft within the syringe to allow sampling.

  • Patent number: 5868250
Abstract: A tray for dispensing and receiving surgical equipment having a series of holders attached to a tray fitted with needle caps, needles, syringes, scalpel covers, scalpel, and other such components. The system uses a bar with a locking mechanism which would allow the bar and other components to move from a plane horizontal to the base of the tray to a position raised above the walls of tray and in a staggered formation. The holding mechanism also allows for bathing the instruments in an antiseptic solution. The sharp components may be removed from rest of the tray in a covered condition for separate disposal. The bar is interspersed with a sponge like material for absorbing fluids, to cushion the return of medical devices and for holding components. The holders may be designed to guide the sharp component into its respective holder. Color or shape coding may be used to assist the return of a device to its specified holder (e.g. scalpels to the scalpel holder, needles on syringe to needle holders.
