  • Patent number: 6471297
Abstract: A vehicle seat assembly comprising a seat cushion and a seat back mounted to the seat cushion. An armrest is pivotally mounted to the seat back in a manner which will allows the armrest to rotate relative to the seat back. The seat assembly includes a cam for guiding the armrest in a lateral direction as the armrest is rotated about an axis between a non-use position and a use position. In particular, as the armrest is rotated downward to the use position, the cam forces the armrest to slide outwardly along the axis away from the seat back, and when the armrest is rotated upward to the non-use position the cam directs the armrest to slide inwardly along the axis toward the seat back.

  • Patent number: 5468434
Abstract: A method of making a cushioned seat component which includes the following steps. First, providing a cover having an exterior surface which is to present the major exterior appearance of the seat component and which includes a panel portion to be cushioned, the panel portion of the cover being perforate between the interior and exterior surfaces thereof. Second, mounting the cover on a vacuum mold so that the exterior surface of the panel portion is facing a mold surface of the vacuum mold having a shape corresponding with the desired exterior surface shape of the panel portion. Third, mounting an imperforate film over the interior surface of the panel portion while the cover is mounted on the vacuum mold. Fourth, applying a vacuum to the vacuum mold so as to draw the exterior surface of the panel portion into conformity with the mold surface of the vacuum mold with the film preventing passage of air through the cover from the interior surface thereof to the exterior surface thereof.

  • Patent number: 4542336
Abstract: A method and apparatus is proposed for sampling at a low rate a broad band sparse spectrum without aliasing to a specified band in which a lowest sampling frequency is found by selecting that signal level from the spectrum which is considered negligible and finding the bandwidths at which the information bands about the carrier frequency multiple reaches this level, then arranging forbidden or unaccepted values of the remainder r of the quotient of the carrier frequency divided by the sampling frequency into a series in order of magnitude, further selecting those sampling frequencies at which adjacent forbidden ranges of the remainder become contiguous, selecting the least value thereof in order to ascertain the corresponding permissible value of the remainder r, and finally determining the corresponding least sampling frequency and the maximum integer value multiple of a clock count, thus establishing the maximum sampling interval.
