    Abstract: A fishing float having a buoyant body member and a central slot extending along the length of the body member. A flexible clasp member is inserted within the central slot of the body member. A fishing line is inserted within the flexible clasp member, frictionally securing the fishing line within the slot. The fishing float can be easily and quickly attached to fishing line, or removed from the fishing line, without damaging or impairing the fishing line.
