Abstract: Systems and methods are described for printing directly onto textiles including pre-treating a textile with a liquid solution to improve the quality of the printed image. The systems and methods prevent over saturation of the fibers of the textile by the ink thereby reducing undesirable mixing of the ink and blurring of the printed image.

Abstract: The present invention provides, in at least one embodiment, a system and method for management of digital information using an individual digital watermark. The system facilitates and controls engagements between an individual and other individuals or businesses. The system uses processing software to register an individual. The system stores an individual's profile and preference information in a database of digital information. When the individual makes contact with another entity (e.g., business or another individual) that he would like to connect with or share information with from his database, the individual allows his device to be scanned using a scanner (e.g., microphone or camera) such that the other entity can extract the embedded individual digital watermark and unlock access to a category of the individual's database of preselected digital information.

Abstract: A portfolio for holding items such as sheets of paper is constructed a single sheet of translucent material having a scored line to act as a hinge and divided the material into front and back covers. The portfolio is provided with at least three pockets constructed of transparent material welded onto the portfolio. Two of the pockets are provided on the interior of the front and back covers for retaining sheets of paper, and a third pocket is provided on the exterior surface of the front cover for holding a sheet of material such as a cover label. The pockets may be provided with cutouts to allow expansion of the pockets and stress relief structures to prevent tearing of the pockets upon repeated insertion and removal of items from the pockets. The portfolio also includes a plurality of holes for attachment in a ringed binder and slits running from the holes to the hinge to permit insertion of the portfolio into the binder without opening the rings.
