Abstract: A throttle actuator for a vehicle having a source of compressed air. A power wall having a constant pressure applied to one side and means for applying or dumping pressure from the other side. A rod extending from the power wall through seals to a chain which is coupled to a throttle arm. The power wall return spring and the throttle arm return spring respectively return the power wall and throttle arm to the closed throttle position. Said throttle actuator comprising solenoid operated valves which control movement of said power wall upon demand by storing or dumping compressed air from one side of said power wall.

Abstract: A lock mechanism housed in a steel case and directly weldable to iron doors, gates, grilles and similar objects, a bolt slideable in either direction along its longitudinal axis, a fixed member adjacent a long side of said bolt, said fixed member having an opening alignable with a dimple in said bolt side, a sliding member driven in either direction along its longitudinal axis by key or knob operated lock cylinder mechanisms, said sliding member having an opening alignable with dimple in said bolt, a ball retained in opening of fixed member and movable between dimple in said bolt and opening in said sliding member.

Abstract: A control in which an active member is momentarily actuated by a moving member only when both members move toward each other and pass each other, the active member being actuated by the moving member as it passes said active member from one direction only, when said members meet and pass in the opposite direction said active member will not be activated, the movement of either member being limited so that the two members can pass each other only when both members move towards each other along parallel paths.
