  • Patent number: 9563801
Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for producing a relief print image. Two or more sensor arrays can be combined, and an electroluminescent layer can be deposited over the combined arrays. A resulting scanner component may be able to scan a larger area of a body part at the same time. The scanner may generate a relief print data sets indicative of light from the electroluminescent layer that are received by a first and second sensor array. The scanner can comprise the first and second sensor arrays coupled together, and the sensor arrays can be configured to convert received photons to an electrical signal. The scanner may also comprise the electroluminescent layer disposed on top of the coupled first and second sensor arrays. An image stitching component can stitch together the sets of relief print data, to create relief print image data indicative of a relief print image.

  • Patent number: 9449213
Abstract: One or more techniques, devices and/or systems are disclosed for mitigating a perceived electrical sensation for a relief print scanning device. A current determination component can be used to identify an electrical current configuration that provides a mitigated electrical sensation to the user, for use with an electroluminescent-based relief print scanning device. The electrical current configuration can be identified using one or more image characteristics of a relief print image, which is captured by the devices using the current configuration. A current adjusting component, can be operably coupled with the current determination component, and may be used to adjust the current configuration, where the adjustment can be based on current adjustment data that is provided by the current determination component, based on the image characteristics.

  • Patent number: 8824792
Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for adjusting a brightness level of an image element representing an image of a body-part relief print. A first weighting factor can be determined for a first image element that may be comprised in an initial image captured by a body-part relief print image capture device. A body-part relief print weighting value can be determined, which can be based at least upon a combination of the first weighting factor and a second image element brightness value for a second image element that may be comprised in a body-part relief print image, which may be captured by a same body-part relief print image capture device as the initial image. An adjusted brightness level can be determined for the second image element, based at least upon a combination of the body-part relief print weighting value and the second image element brightness value.

  • Publication number: 20120014569
Abstract: A mobile slim type fingerprint recognition device has a hand held housing and a light emitting sensor operatively connected to the housing. The light emitting sensor has a transparent insulating layer. A transparent electrode layer overlays the transparent insulating layer. A luminescence layer overlays the transparent electrode layer and a stray light shield layer overlays the luminescence layer. The luminescence layer and the electrode layer are configured such that an electric field can be generated between an object to be imaged and the transparent electrode layer.
