  • Patent number: 9386809
Abstract: A vest incorporating a pull element operatively connected to a plurality of tether lines extending along pathways to panel connection points at which front and rear panels of the vest are adjoined. When the pull element is extended away from the vest, the tether lines are placed into tension thereby causing the connection assemblies to be disengaged and the front and rear panels of the vest can fall away from one another.

    Filed: October 25, 2011
Date of Patent: July 12, 2016
    Assignee: Illinois Tool Works Inc.

  • Publication number: 20100294801
Abstract: A reusable, pressurize-able, foldable and flexible dispenser pack for hot or cold liquids or food is described as consisting an insulation jacket, an enclosed chemical bladder and an innermost product bladder. The chemical bladder contains exothermic material when activated would produce heat and pressure. The chemical and product bladders are formed to be easily accessible to the insides of the bladders for refilling chemicals and products, respectively. When used specifically for heating water, the dispenser pack can be fitted with a shower head for showering; or a coffee/espresso filter bead for making fresh brewed coffee or espresso.

  • Publication number: 20070281058
Abstract: A self-heating package with an inner and outer bag. Heating is provided from the inner bag to the content in the outer bag. The package may be supported by an external box or a utility bag. Additional foam layer is provided to insulate the self-heating package. The utility bag may also provide heating from its internal chamber, thus increasing the heating to the bag-in-bag package.

  • Publication number: 20050211754
Abstract: A foldable beverage dispenser. The dispenser has an outer shell with a front wall, a pair of sidewalls, a back wall, a top, a bottom, and a sloped front wall joining between the top and said front wall. The sloped front wall has an opening therein. A flexible bag with an aperture is provided within the outer shell. A fitment is secured to the aperture and the opening, defining a fluid path and supporting the flexible bag. A plurality of upper flaps extending from the sidewalls, the front wall and the back wall, with one of the upper flaps forming a portion of the top when folded, one of the upper flaps forming a portion of the sloped front. A plurality of lower flaps extending from the sidewalls, the front wall and the sidewalls to form the bottom.

  • Patent number: 6341602
Abstract: A heater pouch adjustably to be placed in a product container. The product container holds a product to be heated by a flameless heater. The heater pouch contains tablets of exothermic material in a flexible cover. The tablets are smooth-surfaced without protuberances so they can be distributed without interference from one another. The spacing between the container and the product, which can vary from product to product, can have complicated shapes. That can be accommodated by this pouch.

  • Patent number: 5465707
Abstract: A self heating individual meal package includes a quantity of foodstuff to be heated. The package consists of a thermal insulated outer pouch. Within the package is an electrolytic-solvent activated exothermic-chemical pad or powder enclosed in an absorbent envelope, a bag containing electrolytic solvent and a pouch for foodstuff. The solvent bag is affixed to a board material which provides a rigid structure for the functioning of a tear filament pull-tab mechanism or the rupturing of the solvent bag. The pull-tab is affixed to the solvent bag so that when pulled the bag will open and the electrolytic solvent within can flow out to trigger the exothermic reaction.
