    Abstract: A sheet cutting, folding and stacking machine having in series a cradle for supporting the rolls of sheet material to be processed by the machine; a printer; a scray for temporarily storing the sheet material drawn from the roll before it is processed by the other assemblies of the machine; a hot wire cutter which cuts the sheet into sections of a selected length and seals the cut edges; a folder for quarter folding the cut section of the sheet; and a stacker assembly for taking the folded sections and stacking them on top of one another into bundles of a selected number.

    Abstract: A small piece folder capable of forming both a French fold and cross fold includes a feed belt on which the unfolded articles are initially placed. Adjustable width control blades overlie the feed belt, and the margins of the article are pneumatically blown over the edges of the blades in sequence to form the French fold. The cross fold is also pneumatically initiated at the end of the feed belt.
