    Abstract: A blender hopper has a contiguous annular side wall with a larger upper portion, and a smaller lower portion. The upper portion is in the form of a square and the lower portion is in the form of an octagon and a bottom wall adjoins the lower portion. Four narrower triangular side walls extend upwardly and outwardly from the diagonal sides of the bottom wall and adjoin the four corners of the upper portion, respectively, and four wider truncated wedge-shaped walls extend upwardly and outwardly from the four orthogonal sides of the bottom wall with their wider ends adjoining the four sides of the upper portion, respectively, and inwardly protruding longitudinal rib is formed in each of the wider truncated wedge-shaped walls. A tubular dispensing conduit is secured in an aperture in one of the wider walls and a dispensing valve is connected to its outer end.

    Abstract: A semi-frozen slush beverage is contained in a thermally insulated vessel which is removably supported on a base unit containing a gas pressurizing mechanism and a motor connected to an electrical source. The gas pressurizing mechanism is controlled by a pressure sensor to maintain pressure on the beverage inside the vessel and an agitator contained within the vessel is releasably connected to the motor shaft when the vessel is supported on the base unit and is operated to swirl the beverage to prevent the semi-frozen slush beverage from separating. A slush delivery valve on the vessel side wall has an outlet end to which a dispensing nozzle or a flexible insulated hose having a dispensing nozzle at its outer end may be releasably connected for dispensing the beverage. The power source may be a battery disposed in the base unit and the base unit may be provided with a battery recharging receptical and associated circuitry.

    Abstract: A portable beverage dispenser system particularly suited for dispensing semi-frozen slush beverages is housed within a back pack and transported on the back of a vendor. The slush beverage is contained in an insulated vessel having a sealed closure lid, a gas supply valve connected with a pressurized gas tank to maintain pressurization of the beverage, a slush delivery conduit with an insulated dispensing hose releasably connected to the conduit, and an agitator contained within the vessel which is rotated by a motor on the vessel exterior. The motor is selectively operated by a battery pack carried by the back pack to swirl the slush beverage adjacent the lower end of the delivery conduit and to prevent the semi-frozen slush beverage from solidifying as it is being discharged. The vessel is surrounded by a thermally insulating jacket which prevents the formation of a thin layer of ice on its exterior due to the temperature of the semi-frozen slush beverage contained therein.
