  • Patent number: 10780985
Abstract: An evacuation slide including a sliding face having a top end portion adapted to be positioned adjacent to an exit of a region to be evacuated, and a bottom end portion adapted to be positioned adjacent to an escape route leading away from the region to be evacuated and being arranged at a lower height than the region to be evacuated. A light signal generating device is adapted to generate a light signal which illuminates the bottom end portion of the sliding face.

  • Patent number: 9870691
Abstract: A system for operating an aircraft door includes an operating handle having a lever and a grip, a slide arming means movable between a first position representing an armed state and a second position representing a disarmed state, a control unit coupled with the slide arming means, warning means arranged in the vicinity of the slide arming means and a sensor. The sensor is adapted for detecting the proximity of a hand of a user in a field around the grip, which field covers a distance of at least 10 cm and not exceeding 50 cm to the grip, and for producing a proximity signal representing the proximity of a hand of a person. The control unit is adapted for operating the warning means on receiving the proximity signal of the sensor to attention to the slide arming means when the slide arming means is in the first position.

  • Patent number: 9701411
Abstract: An evacuation slide comprises a sliding face having a top end portion adapted to be positioned adjacent to an exit of a region to be evacuated, and a bottom end portion adapted to be positioned adjacent to an escape route leading away from, and at a lower height, than the region. The sliding face, at the top end portion, comprises a flat porch section connected to an inclined section of the sliding face via a transition section. The sliding face has at least one of a first guidance marking placed in the flat porch section and having a shape and orientation adapted indicate a predefined evacuation direction in the inclined section of the sliding face and a second guidance marking placed in the transition section and having a shape and orientation adapted to indicate a separation between the flat porch section and the inclined section.

A light signal generating device is adapted to irradiate at least one light beam onto the escape route which extends further in a direction parallel to a center line of the escape route than in a direction perpendicular to the center line of the escape route so as to indicate a predefined evacuation direction along the escape route.
