Abstract: A reusable shopping bag and cart system for improved checkout and bagging procedures. The reusable shopping bags have elongate carrying handles at the upper end of opposed end wall panels for carrying them in the manner of a conventional “tote” type shopping bag, and include sleeves or loops on opposed side wall panels that allow them to be slipped over and suspended in a full open condition from the arms of conventional “T-shirt bag” holding racks and also over bag support members of specially designed shopping carts. The bags may also have shorter support handles at the upper end of the side wall panels for supporting them on the shopping carts. The bags and carts may be utilized in improved checkout, scanning, and bagging procedures employing filled bags supported on the cart and one empty bag supported on the cart or the arms of the bag holding rack.

Abstract: A variable-position decorative light mounting system for mounting the bulb and socket assemblies of a string of decorative lights at selective positions to achieve decorative effects. A base member provided in elongate strips or shorter rectangular sizes is configured to be secured to a supporting surface and has a flat surface with an outwardly projecting protuberance extending longitudinally along the flat surface with a contiguous reduced neck portion at the juncture of the protuberance with the flat surface. One or more bulb-holding clip members having a bottom portion with a cross sectional shape closely corresponding to the cross sectional shape of the protuberance are removably received and engaged on the protuberance by snap attachment. The bulb-holding clips have a contiguous upper portion with an aperture configured to removably receive and substantially encircle a portion of the bulb and socket assembly to releasably retain it on the clip.

Abstract: A generally L-shaped bracket for supporting and displaying a decorative light bulb and socket assembly is formed of resilient material and has a flat horizontal base portion, a contiguous vertical face portion at one end of the base portion extending outwardly perpendicular thereto, at least one aperture in the base portion for receiving various types of fasteners to secure the horizontal base portion to a generally flat surface, and an aperture in the vertical face portion defined by a circular hole near its outwardly extended end of sufficient diameter to partially encircle the neck portion of the light bulb and an adjoining narrow opening extending outwardly from the circular hole to the exterior of the vertical face portion which is smaller in width than the neck portion of the light bulb.
