    Abstract: An improved collapsible sawhorse 100 is constructed as a traverse horizontal cross member 102 supported by vertical members or lateral trusses 104, 106. Brace members 120, 122 are mounted at one end to the inside surface of each leg bracket with a brace mounting assembly 124. The other end of each brace member is attached to the cross member with brace member locator and handle assembly 126. A nut and bolt assembly 134 on each vertical member is tightened to hold the cross member securely. An alternate embodiment of the present invention uses at least one adapter leg 200.
