Abstract: A multiplexing system for use in a boat or recreation vehicle is used to switch an electric load. The system contains at least two bus devices that are connected via a bus line, whereby each one contains a number of inputs and/or load outputs. Each input can be connected to the signal emitter to guide an input signal, during which each load output, which is used to output an output voltage, can be connected to an electric load circuit and a switch element that is used to switch the output voltage. The system includes a control device used to control each load output according to the input signal that is disposed on an associated input, which can be configured such that each input can be allocated to any particular load output by logical interlinking. The control device is formed from a plurality of hardware-sided identical base modules.
