    Abstract: A valve, particularly useful in a fire extinguisher, which utilizes a stem movable in a passageway having a head connected to the stem. The head includes a relatively hard member possessing a hard outer surface which fits snugly within the passageway. The head further includes a deformable portion adjacent the relatively hard surface of the relatively hard member. The relatively hard surface of the relatively hard portion contacts and scrapes the wall portion prior to sealing which is effected between the deformable portion and the wall of the passageway.

    Abstract: A safety seal for an operating lever utilizing a cap which is capable of covering at least one end of the lever pin extending to one side of the lever. The cap is connected to the other side of the lever pin by a tether. The cap and tether are reuseable as a seal.

    Abstract: An apparatus for extracting fire extinguisher powder from a fire extinguisher utilizing a container for the powder and first and second funnels. First funnel communicates with the container and directs powder into the second funnel. A connector between the first and second funnels forms a funnel unit such that the second funnel communicates with the fire extinguisher being filled from the container.
