  • Patent number: 7875336
Abstract: A method for production of a component in a tool having a cavity-forming first and a second tool half comprises the following steps: a) insertion at least of two skins with angled-over end regions into the second tool half such that the angled-over end regions of the skins are situated adjacently with the same orientation and angling; b) rear-foaming or rear-spraying of the skins with a foam material or injection moulding material, c) after insertion of the skins, the end regions of the skins being pressed together in a foam-tight or spray-fight manner at least in regions by pressing at least on one side of the end regions which are situated one above the other against a wall which determines the form and position of the pressed-together end regions.

  • Publication number: 20080233359
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the production of a component having a multipart cover layer and also to a component having a multilayer cover layer. The method according to the invention for the production of a component comprises the steps: a) insertion at least of two skins (3, 4; 20, 21; 41, 42; 81, 82) into the second tool half of a tool having a cavity-forming first tool half (1) and second tool half (2; 27; 40; 60; 80) such that the skins overlap in their end regions (5, 6; 22, 23; 43, 44; 83, 84); b) rear-foaming or rear-spraying of the skins with a foam material (7, 24) or spraying material, c) by exerting low pressure in the region of the overlap, the internally situated end region (6; 23; 44; 84) of the one skin (4; 21; 42; 82) being pressed against the externally situated end region (5; 22; 43; 83) of the other skin (3; 20; 41; 81) in a foam-tight or injection moulding-tight manner.

  • Patent number: 7380865
Abstract: The invention relates to a vehicle door (1) and to a method for the production thereof. The vehicle door comprises a supporting frame (11) with an opening (2). The supporting frame is joined to a body structure of the vehicle in a manner that permits it to move. The opening (2) is closed in an essentially moisture-proof manner by molding it with a curable compound while forming a supporting plate (10) for accommodating elements such as window lifters, loudspeakers (3) or the like. At least one guide rail for guiding a window pane (9), which can be displaced relative to the supporting frame, is provided for accommodating a lateral edge of the window pane in the supporting plate.

  • Publication number: 20070069543
Abstract: A storage device (1), in particular for a motor vehicle (2) including a bottom wall (10) fixed to a vehicle, a movable wall which is embodied in one piece and forms a door (14) and a lateral wall (12). The inventive device can take up the following positions: an unfolded closed position, wherein the bottom wall (10), the lateral wall (12) and the door (14) define therebetween a first substantially closed storing volume (32), an unfolded open position, wherein the device forms an access opening (34) to the first storing volume and a retracted closed position, wherein the access opening is closed by the door and wherein the bottom wall (10), the lateral wall (12) and the door (14) define therebetween a second storing volume (32) which is substantially enclosed in the first storing volume.

  • Publication number: 20060175858
Abstract: A piece of equipment includes a rigid support frame (5) and a flexible lining (7) which covers the outer face (9) of the support frame, the lining includes an outer covering (17). The lining hass protrusions (19, 27) which project out from the outer covering (17) and which rest on the outer face (9) of the support frame (5). According to the invention, spaces (21) for the deformation of the lining are defined between the protrusions, thereby making the lining flexible. The invention can be used, for example, to produce instrument panels.
