  • Patent number: 10876642
Abstract: A sliding diverter valve. The value includes a body portion with a bore having a diameter, an untreated fluid inlet, an untreated fluid spigot outlet, an untreated fluid diverter outlet, a treated fluid inlet, and a treated fluid spigot outlet. The valve further includes a slider which slides in the bore of the body portion and which, (a) in a first, untreated fluid position, directs untreated fluid to flow from the untreated fluid inlet to the untreated fluid spigot outlet and which blocks any fluid from exiting the untreated fluid diverter outlet and any treated fluid from entering the treated fluid inlet, and (b) in a second, treated fluid position, directs untreated fluid to flow from the untreated fluid inlet to the untreated fluid diverted outlet and which blocks any fluid from exiting the untreated fluid spigot outlet, and permits treated fluid to flow into the treated fluid inlet and out of the treated fluid spigot outlet.

  • Patent number: 9556039
Abstract: There is disclosed a unique water treatment system which incorporates a unique primary valve. The primary valve comprises an interconnected first part and second part. The first part attaches to a water source and provides untreated water to water treatment units which are controlled by the second part of the primary valve. Untreated water flows to a first water treatment unit and subsequently through a valve to the second part of the primary valve and to use or to a second water treatment unit. From the second water treatment unit the water flows to the second part of the primary valve and to use. The second part of the primary valve has a unique bore and slideable shaft valve structure. The water treatment units can purify the water and/or add substances to the water.

  • Patent number: 6941968
Abstract: A fluid spigot with a spigot body, a spigot tube, a rotary disc valve located in a valve cavity in the spigot body, the rotary disc valve having an opened and closed positions, a valve stem for turning the rotary disc valve, and a handle for turning the valve stem. The invention further provides a filter unit for attachment to a water spigot or faucet. The filter unit has a filter cannister with a hollow body with a fluid inlet and an open mouth portion, a filter sized to fit within the filter cannister, and an adapter that fits over the open mouth portion of the filter canister, wherein the filter cannister is sized to fit through a hole in a sink rim, the filter being replaceable from above the sink by removing the adapter to access the filter.

  • Patent number: 5865209
Abstract: An air gap adapter for use with a water faucet. The air gap adapter has an adapter body with a base portion and an integral riser portion which extends generally vertically upwardly from a rear region of the base portion. The base portion has a hole for a water inlet shank of the water faucet, and the riser portion has brine inlet and outlet bores. The brine outlet bore is vertically oriented in the riser portion, and the brine inlet and outlet bores are open at their upper region. Two barbed connectors are located at a lower region of the adapter body and provide a brine inlet and outlet to the adapter. A venting aperture is formed near an upper region of said riser portion and passes into the brine outlet bore. A cap is positioned on the riser portion above the bores.
