Abstract: Disclosed is a remote, standalone video surveillance device which wirelessly transmits video data in a plurality of types of transmission signals, simultaneously. The device includes one or more video acquisition modules which acquire a video signal, process the video signal, and output the processed video signal; one or more wireless transmission modules which transmit the output video signal; and a power supply which provides power to the video acquisition modules and the wireless transmission modules. Also, the device provides for wired transmission of video data, as well as the wireless transmission.
