Abstract: A gusset style pouch is provided with a resealable closure system configured to selectively define a top opening of the pouch, at the opposite from a bottom, at least one strip of this system being adapted for locking an open configuration, by engaging locking elements that pivot and cause interengagement between the strips of the closure system. The locking elements are integrally formed with at least one strip of the system and made of a semi rigid plastic material, less flexible than material of the pouch sidewall. An elongated predetermined measuring utensil of shorter length than height of an interior pouch volume can be stored along the sidewall by use of a holding part formed on the strip as a lower extension. A leveling can also be performed using a free edge below the interlocking area.

The lid can move between an open position and a closed position in which it closes off the opening. A measuring utensil with a bowl can be positioned in the plane of the frame. The inner side wall of the frame is provided with a retaining member which has a base extending from the frame towards the central axis of the container and that is extended by a tab extending upwards some distance from the inner side wall. The retaining member delimits, with the inner side wall, a slot-like housing capable with a small amount of clearance of accommodating a wall portion of the bowl.

A measuring utensil with a bowl is stored between the opening of the container and the lid in the closed position. The annular projection is inserted into the continuous groove and the interior skirt presses at least partially against said interior face of the frame in the closed position of the lid.

The lid is locked in the closed position by a locking plate (41) connected to the lid and an engagement rim secured to the surround. The plate pivots about an axis between a locking position with its catching portion engaged with the rim and an unlocked position. The plate pivots into the unlocked position under manual actuation, away from the catching portion, of an actuating portion towards a central axis (Z). The top face of the lid has a depression (47) opening laterally and the actuating portion of the plate is advantageously situated level with the mouth of the depression so that it can pivot thereinto and adopt the unlocked position.
