The electrical connector includes a mobile part, a guide rail that is transverse to the front-rear direction (XX?), for transversally guiding the mobile part, and a ramp system such that, when the mobile part is guided by the guide rail, the ramp system pushes the rear grid against the mat seal so as to compress the mat seal.

Abstract: This connector includes an insulative housing having a plurality of terminal accommodating chambers, a grommet formed with a plurality of cable passages, a grid having a plurality of passages in correspondence with the passages and a closing member mounted at the rear side of the grid for selectively closing the passage to a first predetermined group of chambers, said closing member including a plate, which is formed with through-holes in correspondence with a second predetermined group of chambers. The closing member further includes at least one plug projecting from the plate in correspondence with the first group of chambers, said plugs being provided to be inserted in the respective passages of the seal, and thus sealingly close said passages.

Abstract: The invention concerns an electrical connection device including a connector having electrical contacts, a connector counterpart having complementary electrical contacts, designed to be coupled to the connector along a coupling axis (X-X), an annular seal. The connector counterpart includes a support for said electrical contacts onto which the seal is fitted and a housing for receiving at least one part of the support, and the housing and the connector each have a peripheral support surface onto a first area and onto a second area of said seal, which areas are adjacent. The invention also concerns a connector counterpart.

Abstract: The electrical connector includes an electrical terminal, a housing delimiting a chamber for receiving the terminal along a reception direction (X), successively at a reception position and at a retained position, a pawl hinged to one amongst the housing and the terminal, and a stop fixed to the other amongst the housing and the terminal. Said pawl and stop cooperate for retaining the terminal at its retained position, and said housing includes a guiding wall with a guiding surface on which the terminal is pushed against by the pawl being elastically pushed back. The guiding surface comprises a raising slope inclined toward the inside of the chamber along the reception direction (X) 1 the slope being located to be climbed on by the terminal pushed from its reception position to its retained position. Application in the automotive industry.

Abstract: This electric connector including an insulating casing furnished with cavities for receiving respective contacts connected to cables; a cap, which forms a guide for the cables and is arranged and fixed onto the casing; an operating element, which is movably mounted on the assembly formed by the casing and the cap and is intended for interactive engagement with a complementary element disposed on the matching part for the connector in order to ensure the coupling or the decoupling of the connector and its matching part. The operating element is movably mounted on the cap. The invention also relates to a method for assembling said connector.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device for locking a cap onto a contact-carrier module, wherein said cap has a bearing for locking the contact disposed in the contact-carrier module is assembled on the coupling face of module in such a way that the cap and the module form a first connector element which includes a latch for latching the cap on the module in a longitudinal contact locking position and a removable stop preventing the coupling of the connector element with a complementary connector element until the cap is latched on the module in the contact locking position.
