  • Patent number: 9857571
Abstract: A thermoplastic sheet for the manufacture of a transparent motor vehicle or building glazing intended for the display of information, in particular of a laminated glazing, the sheet including a compound exhibiting an absorption band in the ultraviolet region and of which the diffuse reflection spectrum as a function of the energy of the incident radiation is characterized by a V value on the reflection curve, determined by the point of intersection between the tangent (1) at the inflection point of said curve and its asymptote (2) at the higher energies, of between 3.06 and 3.65 eV.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 22, 2013
Date of Patent: January 2, 2018
    Assignee: SEKISUI CHEMICAL CO., LTD.
Inventors: Jean Sablayrolles, Frederic Clabau, Michael Labrot
  • Patent number: 9816027
Abstract: A method for producing a film having luminescent particles is described. The method has steps a) mixing a thermoplastic and a luminescent pigment containing a hydroxyalkyl terephthalate of the formulate: R1—COO—P(OH)x-COO—R2 and obtaining a thermoplastic mixture; and b) homogenizing the thermoplastic mixture to 150° C. to 200° C. in an extruder, by way of an extrusion nozzle, and obtaining a thermoplastic film.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 10, 2012
Date of Patent: November 14, 2017
    Assignee: SEKISUI CHEMICAL CO., LTD.
Inventors: Michael Labrot, Monique Elmer, Jean Sablayrolles, Frederic Clabau

  • Publication number: 20140124029
Abstract: A conducting substrate includes a dielectric substrate having alkali ions, an electrode coating having a molybdenum-based layer on the substrate, and a stack of several layers between the substrate and the electrode coating. The stack comprises a first layer impermeable to alkali on the substrate, a layer for retention of alkali on the first layer impermeable to alkali and made of another material, and a second layer impermeable to alkali on the layer for retention of alkali and made of a material other than the layer for retention of alkali. The ratio of the thickness of the layer for retention of alkali to the first layer impermeable to alkali is equal to 2 or more.
