  • Patent number: 9988982
Abstract: A turbine engine has inner and outer annular covers containing an annular combustion chamber and an annular nozzle. The combustion chamber is held in position inside the outer annular cover between two radial holder rings that are nested at least in part one within the other and that have their radially outer first ends secured to the outer annular cover by fasteners and their radially inner second ends in the form of combs holding in position between them a transverse rim of the annular combustion chamber so as to enable a cooling stream to flow towards the annular nozzle and so as to hold the annular combustion chamber axially while leaving it free to move at least radially.

  • Publication number: 20150240714
Abstract: A turbine engine has inner and outer annular covers containing an annular combustion chamber and an annular nozzle (42). Provision is made for the combustion chamber to be held in position inside the outer annular cover (12a, 12b) between two radial holder rings (60, 70) that are nested at least in part one within the other and that have their radially outer first ends secured to the outer annular cover by fastener means (40) and their radially inner second ends in the form of combs holding in position between them a transverse rim (26a) of the annular combustion chamber so as to enable a cooling stream to flow towards the annular nozzle and so as to hold the annular combustion chamber axially while leaving it free to move at least radially.

  • Patent number: 6199284
Abstract: Shears for cutting metal sheet include first and second jaws pivotably interconnected by a jaw joint. The jaws have respective cutting edges located forwardly of the jaw joint, and which are arranged to cross one another at a crossing point which moves during a cutting operation. The cutting edges are configures to cross one another at a substantially constant angle during a cutting operation. The second jaw includes an extension extending rearwardly of the jaw joint. The first jaw has a rigidly attached first gripping handle. A second gripping handle is pivotably connected to the first handle by a handle joint located rearwardly of the jaw joint. The second handle engages a surface of the extension by a sliding contact, whereby a distance between the jaw joint and the sliding contact increases during a cutting operation.
