    Abstract: The invention relates to a device for suctioning a powdery product. Said device comprises a auctioning tube (1,1?) which can be connected to a pneumatic suction transfer system and a clod-breaking device comprising a worm conveyor (4) which is rotationally driven by a motor (10) via a shaft (7). The worm conveyor is located at the end of the auctioning device in a truncated housing (3). The blades of the worm conveyor are provided with teeth and the shaft (7) is provided with knives (8) downstream from the worm conveyor (4). Any clods can be broken up by the worm conveyor (4) and the knives (8) complete the work of the worm conveyor by breaking up any clusters which move beyond the worm conveyor (4).

The device comprises a working chamber, which is connected to a supply line for the conveyed material, and comprises a discharge cross-section. At least one feed line for a flow medium leads into the working chamber, and a filter device is located between the flow medium and the conveyed material. The supply line for the conveyed material leads into a tubular filter space, and a filter insert, which is also tubular and delimits said filter space, is placed inside the working chamber connected to an air line and/or to a gas line. In order to accommodate the filter insert, the working chamber contains a perforated inner tube that, with a housing, which delimits the working chamber, abuts against void.

    Abstract: Apparatus and process for transferring pulverent material from a supply container to a delivery point comprises an elongate exhaust pipe having a first end and a second end with a filter near the second end, an intake pipe extending from the supply container to the first end of the exhaust pipe and a transfer pipe extending from the first end of the exhaust pipe to the delivery point. With the first end of the exhaust pipe connected with the intake pipe, suction is applied to the second end of the exhaust pipe to draw pulverent material from the supply container to and through the intake pipe into the exhaust pipe where it is blocked by the filter. The first end of the exhaust pipe is then connected with the transfer pipe and air under pressure is supplied to the second end of the exhaust pipe to propel the pulverent material from the exhaust pipe to and through the transfer pipe to the delivery point and to clear the filter.

    Abstract: This machine for washing containers of all open types is adapted to be enclosed in a compartment and comprises a tray to which the container is detachably secured; the tray is pivoted to a frame trunnioned in turn to fixed bracket bearings; a rotary brush connected to a supply of cleaning liquid is adapted, when the container is tilted to a position in which its bottom facing the rotary brush tip is somewhat higher than its opening and the tray is rotatably driven by a peripheral roller, to engage the bottom and inner side faces of the container. The brush and cleaning liquid supply means are responsive to cylinder means so arranged that the machine can accomodate a wide range of container sizes and shapes.
