Abstract: A method of calculating an optical system (OS) of an ophthalmic lens according to a given spectacle frame comprising the steps of: providing geometrical data of the spectacle frame, providing wearer data, and optimization of the optical system (OS) according to at least the criteria consisting of the geometrical data of the spectacle frame, the wearer data and at least one positioning data, so as to generate at least two optical surfaces (S1, S2).

Abstract: A digital processing system supporting management of purchase orders according to chargeable subcontracting model in an outsourcing organization. In one embodiment, when a user provides an order for a desired quantity of an assembly type from an external organization, the digital processing system automatically raises a sales order, as originating from the external organization, corresponding to each of a set of components required for manufacturing the assembly type. On receiving a receipt indication indicating the successful delivery of the order, the digital processing system calculates a net payable amount to be paid to the external organization. Additional aspects of the invention facilitate setting up of chargeable contracting model with simulated (within the digital processing system) external organizations, planning of purchase orders, etc.

Abstract: The method is intended for setting the force limiters of a lifting appliance equipped with a winch-type lifting mechanism (8), the electric motor of which is controlled by a variable-speed drive unit ensuring regulation of the drive torque. This method involves: mounting a direct-reading or remote-reading balance (23) between the lifting hook (5) and a fixed point (27), placing the lifting mechanism in a “setting” mode, displaying desired values for the limitation of the nominal drive torque, commanding the lifting function in the raising direction by means of the control of the said electric motor and reading the tensile force values (F) supplied by the balance (23). The invention applies more particularly to the setting of the force limiters on tower cranes.
