  • Publication number: 20120213666
Abstract: The invention mainly relates to an apparatus for decontaminating an indoor space (1), said apparatus comprising a means for spreading a liquid treatment material starting with fogging of a predetermined amount (Q) of said treatment liquid in the space (V) of the latter. The decontamination apparatus of the invention is characterized in that it comprises a means for controlling the spreading means, said controlling means being capable of stopping and resuming the fogging of said liquid material a plurality of times during a single treatment cycle. The present invention also relates to a decontamination method implementing said apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20110284042
Abstract: The present invention relates to a decontamination device of the type comprising a compressor (1) supplying pressurized gas, with interposition of means of pressure regulation, means (5) suited for misting a decontamination product in the form of fine droplets in a room to be treated. This device is characterized in that the compressor (1) directly supplies the means of misting (5) at a desired pressure for use, and without interposition of a buffer tank, where the means of pressure regulation (11) are constituted by a controlled flow rate leak between the outlet (S) of the compressor (1) and the inlet (E) of the means of misting (5).

  • Publication number: 20110280767
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for decontamination of a room by misting a liquid treatment product (3) into the volume thereof, of the type comprising a receiving tank (2) for said product (3), means (4) suited for generating fine droplets of the product (3) in a zone of the surface of the room, means (6) suited for forming an air flow capable of entraining the fine droplets by mixing therewith, means (10, 12) suited for injecting the mist thus formed into the room. This device is characterized in that the air flow traverses a convergent tube (18) whose axis (xx?) is coincident with that of the air flow, where this tube opens out near the surface of the liquid product (3) and is inclined at an angle (?) relative thereto.

  • Publication number: 20110266376
Abstract: The present invention relates to a fractionating injector, in particular to a Venturi-effect misting unit, of the type comprising a convergent axial vein (3) intended to receive a pressurized gas flow, a cylindrical vein (5) and a divergent axial vein (7), where said injector furthermore comprises at least one secondary vein (9), substantially transverse, intended to admit a liquid flow, and which opens downstream from the convergent vein (3), characterized in that the axis (zz?) of the cylindrical vein 5 is offset in angle compared to the longitudinal axis (xx?) of the convergent (3) and divergent (5) veins. The present invention also relates to injection units and misting devices implementing such an injector.
