  • Patent number: 10030564
Abstract: This exhaust gas purification device (2, 102), comprising an upstream pipe (4), in which a first exhaust gas purification member (6) is housed, a downstream pipe (8) in which a second exhaust gas purification member (10) is housed, a mixing chamber (12) and an injection device (20) for a nitrogen oxide reducing product; is characterized in that the mixing chamber includes a first deflector member capable of channeling the flow of exhaust gas such that it flows through the jet of nitrogen oxide reducing product substantially perpendicular to the second deflector member (36, 56), the second deflector member being configured to form two swirling flows of a mixture of exhaust gas and nitrogen oxide reducing product; and in that the device further includes an element (54, 58) for protecting the second member (10) for purifying exhaust gas.

  • Patent number: 9610823
Abstract: A vehicle having an HVAC system with a particular ventilation housing design and method for making the same are described. The ventilation housing has a common mode door for defrost and floor panels and allows efficient use of components to provide effective operation in bi-level and other modes. In bi-level mode, the mode doors can be operated to form flow path such that floor outlet is virtually on the upstream side of the panel outlet.

  • Patent number: 9581067
Abstract: A mixer for a vehicle exhaust system includes an outer shell having an inlet end and an outlet end, an upstream baffle positioned adjacent the inlet end to initiate swirling of engine exhaust gases, and a downstream baffle positioned adjacent the outlet end. An impactor extends between the upstream and downstream baffles, and is spaced radially inwardly from an inner surface of the outer shell by a gap.

  • Publication number: 20130323072
Abstract: The invention relates to an axial fan for delivering cooling air, in particular for an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle, comprising fan blades which are fastened to a hub and which have a pressure side and a suction side and a trailing edge and a blade depth, on the pressure side of which fan blades is arranged a hub ramp which rises counter to the direction of rotation of the axial fan, wherein the trailing edge has an outer region situated radially outside the hub ramp and has an inner region situated radially within the hub ramp.
