Abstract: A coaxial cable intended to be used in the field of telecommunications comprises a metal core surrounded by at least two layers one of which is a dielectric material layer and the other of which, disposed between the core and the dielectric material layer over at least part of the length of the cable, is a semiconductor composite material layer comprising an insulative matrix and an undoped polymeric conductor containing conjugate bonds. The cable features intrinsic filtering of electromagnetic interference conducted by the cable at frequencies below 1 GHz.

Abstract: The invention relates to methods of enabling fractal objects to be manufactured. In accordance with the invention, the method consists in performing repeated scaling reductions on a parent generator defined by means of three-dimensional coordinates, in storing the coordinates of each daughter object obtained by such a scaling reduction, and in repeating the scaling reduction until the dimensions of a daughter object become less than a given threshold value. The coordinates of the daughter objects are then supplied to stereolithographic apparatus which manufactures the fractal object defined by assembling together the daughter objects.

Abstract: The optical filter device comprises a stack of thin layers exhibiting a sequences h and g which defines a fractal organization. This device makes it possible to obtain spectrum lines which are extremely fine and very well resolved.
