  • Publication number: 20140000935
Abstract: A cable is provided containing one or o polymeric elements for reduction of crosstalk. The cable includes a plurality of unshielded twisted pairs, each of which is an insulated conductor pair twisted around one another, each having a different lay length. A jacket encloses the plurality of unshielded twisted pairs, where an unshielded twisted pair, has the longest lay length among the plurality of unshielded twisted pairs is positioned within the center of the jacket such that an axis of the twisted pairs that has the longest lay length substantially coincides with the central longitudinal axis of the cable. A plurality of bumper elements are disposed within the jacket in the interstices between said plurality of unshielded twisted pairs, where the bumper elements are profiled polymer structures.

Abstract: A method and kit for draining a flexible container holding a product having a viscosity of between 10 Pa·s and 200 000 Pa·s. The method includes using a flexible container (3); optionally, moving the container (3) to be drained to a drainage site; ensuring the viscous product (2) can flow from container (3) through at least one outlet (9); exerting a pressure on at least one defined area of container (3) using a pressurizing device which preferably includes at least one pressure member (5) and/or a pressure fluid to maintain container (3) in an inflated or partially-inflated state; and removing the pressure once the container has been drained. The drainage kit includes the viscous product (silicon mastic), a flexible container (3) and a draining device including at least one pressure member and/or pressure fluid.

  • Publication number: 20090231957
Abstract: Frontal sonar for observing the seafloor, characterized in that it includes: elements for insonifying a seafloor area divided into M sectors, able to perform a characteristic insonification of each sector of the area during an operation recurrence of the sonar; and receiving elements including a physical antenna consisting of an array of K transducers, the antenna being lacunar and thus ambiguous, so that it defines N image lobes, and in that each of the characteristically insonified sector is associated with a single image lobe defined by the antenna, so that the antenna ambiguity is removed.
