  • Patent number: 9578551
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for establishing a link through which at least one data stream is to be transmitted. A first communication facility and a second communication facility form a first and second end of the link, respectively. A first base station is connected to the first communication facility, and a second base station is connected to the second communication facility, the first base station having preselected the second base station from among a plurality of base stations. The method includes the following steps, implemented by the first communication facility: extracting an identifier of the first base station and an identifier of the second base station, said identifiers being included in a message transmitted by the first base station; and establishing the link between the first communication facility and the second communication facility from the extracted identifier of the first base station and the extracted identifier of the second base station.

  • Patent number: 8130775
Abstract: A method is provided for setting up at least two pseudo-wires able to broadcast a stream of data, wherein a first pseudo-wire is set up between an input router of a packet-switched network and first output router of the packet-switched network, and a second pseudo-wire is set up between the input router and a second output router of the packet-switched network. A first link of the first pseudo-wire is set up between the first output router and an intermediate router of the packet-switched network. A second link of the second pseudo-wire is set up between the second output router and the intermediate router. A third link of both pseudo-wires is set up between the intermediate router and the input router.

  • Publication number: 20110040885
Abstract: A method of communicating through a pseudo-wire set up between first and second provider edge nodes of a packet-switched network through at least one router of the packet-switched network, said method comprising, during a phase of transmitting data through the pseudo-wire in accordance with parameters defining a first communication session set up between the first and second provider edge nodes steps of: the second provider edge node receiving a set up message a of second communication session between the first and second provider edge nodes, the setting up message comprising parameters defining the second session, and the second equipment sending the router a notification message comprising parameters defining the second session and indicating switching of data transmission to the second communication session, the phase of transmitting data continuing in accordance with the parameters defining the second communication session.

  • Publication number: 20100166005
Abstract: A method is provided for communicating between first and second routers, the routers being part of a packet-switched network. The method includes a stage of transmitting data over a pseudowire set up between the first and second routers, the data being transmitted in accordance with a parameter of the pseudowire. The method includes at least one step of sending a modification request message of the parameter at the initiative of one of the two routers, to the other router, and during the stage of transmission over the pseudowire. Also, a method is provided for processing data transmitted over such a pseudowire. The method includes a stage of transmission of data over the pseudowire, the data being transmitted in accordance with a parameter of the pseudowire. The method includes, during the transmission stage, at least one of the routers receiving a modification request message of the parameter of the pseudowire.
